Did a little quiz online about myself =) I think it's pretty much me!
Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you meet that person.
The seriousness of your love:
You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.
Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
The right job for you:
You have many goals and want to achieve as much as you can. The jobs you enjoy are those that let you burn off your considerable excess energy.
How do you view success:
You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying.
What are you most afraid of:
You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.
Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.
Okay, I know I haven't been updating much here! Terribly sorry..but in any case, I finished my paper last monday! Utterly happy, needless to say..=D met up with a friend to have breakfast and shop!! (sorry, no photos though..)
Let me see, what else have I been up to..Oh yes, been to two castings since then. Glad I got one job! I'm going to keep that under wraps for now, so keep your eyes peeled here for more updates!!! Other than that, I guess I've been doing the usual, catching up with my sleep (which i badly needed, was only clocking in 20 hrs of sleep during the mugging period), running, and doing some reading =)
After casting!
Hopefully more castings to come! Or I'll probably be headed back to the hospital to work =)

"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most-requested column I've ever written. My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:
1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good. 2. When in doubt, just take the next small step. 3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. 4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch. 5. Pay off your credit cards every month. 6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree. 7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone. 8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it. 9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck. 10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile. 11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present. 12. It's OK to let your children see you cry. 13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about. 14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it. 15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks. 16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind. 17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful. 18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger. 19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else. 20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer. 21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special. 22. Over prepare, then go with the flow. 23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple. 24. The most important sex organ is the brain. 25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you. 26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?' 27. Always choose life. 28. Forgive everyone everything. 29. What other people think of you is none of your business. 30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time. 31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change. 32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does. 33. Believe in miracles. 34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do. 35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now. 36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young. 37. Your children get only one childhood. 38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved. 39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere. 40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's,we'd grab ours back. 41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need. 42. The best is yet to come. 43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up. 44. Yield. 45. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift."
I first heard this song about a night ago, and I fell absolutely in love with it. What more to melt a heart than a soft acoustic serenade saying 'I'm Yours', or having your partner being there for you through it all, and still letting you know that you're still 'a soldier in your(their) eyes' even when you're at your weakest?
Even though you know you may not have the softest touch, say the words as such, though you may not look like much, be rough around the edges or you never feel like you're quite enough, that person's still always there - healing the scars over time, embracing your soul and loving your mind.
Somehow, I think you know growing old feels fine when your other half loves the lines on your face and still loves the look in your eyes. =)
Okay, enough of my talk, I'm sorry I can't find any official videos to this song, this was the best one already, but it's the song that really matters, do take a listen, I've placed a copy of the lyrics just after the video, oh yes, remember to just pause the song playing on the blog! (it's at the bottom of the right sidebar) I hope you guys will love this song as much as I do!
Love, Raxsiel
I dedicate this to you, I know this song will speak to your heart.
I'm Yours
You've touched these tired eyes of mine And mapped my face out line by line And somehow growing old feels fine I listen close for I'm not smart You wrap your thoughts and works of art And there hanging on the walls of my heart.
I may not have the softest touch I may not say the words as such And though I may not look like much I'm yours.
And though my edge is maybe rough I never feel I'm quite enough And it may not seem like very much But I'm yours.
You healed these scars over time Embraced my soul, you loved my mind You're the only angel in my life.
The day the news came, my best friend died My knees went weak, and you saw me cry Say I'm still the soldier in your eyes.
I may not have the softest touch I may not say the words as such And though I may not look like much I'm yours.
And though my edge is maybe rough I never feel I'm quite enough And it may not seem like very much But I'm yours.
I may not have the softest touch I may not say the words as such And though I don't fit in that much But I'm yours.
