Pink Iguanas?!



Yes, this isn't a joke, scientists have discovered a unique species of pink (rosada) land iguanas living on the Galapagos Islands!



Apparently, Charles Darwin missed the characteristic pink iguana, which has not been found outside this single, relatively young volcano since his travels bypassed Volcano Wolf!



Researchers,who first discovered them in 1986, first thought that the iguanas, which are pink with black spots, simply had skin pigmentation problem. But after years of study, researchers have concluded that it is a unique species.
