Half Marathon? Check.

*yawn* I'm still sleepy from waking real early this morning despite having just taken a 3 hour nap..lol.. Ran a half marathon at the SCMS 2010..Slopes and the sun towards the end was definitely the kryptonite =(

Time for me to start revising some notes and lose weight! lol..okay, short post, pictures uploading in progress!

Fatigue.

*sigh*

I'm beginning to wonder if I'm taking on too many things that I can actually handle. =(
Been feeling really tired recently and my quality (& quantity) of sleep is just..let's just say non-existent.
I blame it on insufficient rest which stemmed from the mugging period.

And yes, school has started (again) for me. First two days, and I feel like I have to start preparing for my exams already -_-" maybe I'm just putting too much pressure on myself to do well.

Anyway, was working under Dell for their media launch of the Dell Streak yesterday! Got to use a Dell Streak! If any of you are considering getting one, I say..Go get one! (no, i'm not paid to advertise for them) There'll be a launch for the Starhub partners next tues! (will take more photos of the Streak then..the current one I have is just...unflattering)

Met a Sony/Playworks rep whom i worked for as a Sony PS3 Ambassador at the media launch, hopefully the details of the PS3 job gets confirmed fast! Launch of GT5! CAN'T WAIT!!

Alritey..time for me to carbo load for the half marathon this sunday!

End of SITEX

yes, i've FINALLY completed my exams..YAY! That also means I'm entering my final yr..utterly mixed feelings..

ANYWAY, was working for Dell @ SITEX over the last 4 days..How did it go?
Boots + 5 hours + laptop = TIRING.

But I must admit, it was largely quite fun..lol..can't wait to see the others on the 1st for another Dell event! =)

School's starting on the 30th..my one week term break just feels too short.. =(
Honestly still feel quite drained from all the mugging and exam stress..*sigh*

As usual, I'm utterly guilty of not updating my blog..but thanks for all the emails though..

Again, I'm in the midst of the exams ..yea,I know how it always seems like I'm always studying and having exams somehow..well, I guess that's uni life..*Sigh* Can't wait till the term break! (however short it is)

It somehow appears that every single time I've decided to go running, it not just rains, it POURS..someone make the rain stop already!

But..in any case, bear with me for a little while more..I'll update an entry proper (yes, about the Sony PS Move event I did as well) when I'm finally done and over with my final paper on the 22nd! Awesome Day!

Okay, no pictures of me (didn't bring my cam out) but well, I had an awesome day! Went for casting and got it!(a little sad to part with my long hair though..=( ) Hehe..will put up pictures of my new hairstyle when it's done! =D In the meantime, in light of Roland Garros (French Open), check this video out! *sighs*..okay, I really should start updating this blog a little more often. Officially, mugging has started for me. Yes, I know, exam's are still a little way off and I have time..well, better start early I guess. My study table's beginning to disappear again, as usual, from the accumulation of books and notes. Honestly should start clearing it. (no, I'm not going to put a picture of how it looks cause it'll probably scare the wits out of anyone..hurhur)



Been contemplating if I should run a full marathon at the end of the year. Or half? Always wanted to do a full marathon, but somehow always ended up doing the 10k..hmm..*ponders*

My body clock is utterly messed up. I sleep early in the morning, and wake not even feeling tired a couple of hours later. Any suggestions on how to set it right again? Going for a couple of castings over the week. Hope I get them! =)

Oh well, time to hit the books again..update soon =)

Best Night So Far...

Definitely one of the BEST NIGHTS I've had in a long while!! Attended the performance by Andrea Bocelli (along with Australian pop singer Delta Goodrem, Solvenian soprano Sabina Cbilak and acclaime flutist Andrea Griminello) at the Singapore Botanic Gardens as part of YTL's anniversary celebrations!! I never would have thought I'd have the opportunity to hear him perform, so this...definitely is a dream come true!

Unfortunately, I forgot my camera! So I had to rely on the one in my phone! Uploaded the ones that turned out better =)

Honestly, BEST PERFORMANCE I've been to since 2010 started..Not only because it was Andrea Bocelli (trust me, just like how Celine Dion once said "If God had a singing voice, He would sound a lot like Andrea Bocelli" now I see the truth in that phrase..it's totally different hearing him 'live') , but the organisation and crew was just awesome, right down to the goodie bag and food! There wasn't even a problem getting onto the shuttle buses, no long queues and worries about getting lost at the venue! YTL did a really great job!!

The Responsibility Project

I'm sure some of you might have seen these short films/videos on youtube or some other online portal. And today, I decided to watch some of them online again and am going to run a series of them on my blog, so you guys (if there's anyone reading this blog..) can view them too!

These short films/videos are part of the Responsibility Project. For those who prefer watching animated ones, don't fret, they do have short animated films too! One thing i really love about them is that they leave the endings open, which really gets you thinking about what YOU would have done.

Here's a little short background on the Responsibility Project..

How It Began

In 2006, Liberty Mutual created a TV commercial about people doing things for strangers. The response was overwhelming. We received thousands of positive emails and letters from people all over the country commenting on the ads.

We thought, if one TV spot can get people thinking and talking about responsibility, imagine what could happen if we went a step further? So we created a series of short films, and this website, as an exploration of what it means to do the right thing.

Uh Oh..
